At Daley’s Drywall & Taping we are committed to preserving our environment. Our commitment to building ‘Green’ includes the recycling of our planet's precious resources where ever possible.
We take advantage of every opportunity to use recycled materials on each of our projects.
We are the only Northern California drywall company to own and run its own fleet of in-house recycle-bins specifically marked for their intended purpose.
Recycled Gypsum Only
Our gypsum recycling bins are used for scrap drywall, which is delivered directly to the manufacturing plant to be recycled into new gypsum drywall. Unlike other recycling programs, Daley’s Drywall eliminates the inefficiencies of public landfills to insure the gypsum goes into making new drywall material.
Recycled Metal Only
These bins are not only filled with metal scrap from our metal cut-offs, but also the scrap metal used by other trades on our various job sites. Daley’s Drywall delivers these bins directly to a certified metal recycler.
Promoting the Use of Metal Studs
Daley’s Drywall strongly promotes the use of metal stud framing over other types of framing materials as metal has proven to be the best recycled material available.
Green as a Culture
Daley’s Drywall operates a fleet of over 40 trucks and uses the most fuel efficient engines available, including hybrid and small diesel engines. We use low energy task lighting, recycle our electronics and limit our power usage.
Solar Energy
We have recently installed a roof-top solar panel system to conserve energy and share with the community any unused energy generated by our solar panels.
