Safety

Today’s general contractors place increasing emphasis on job site safety, often requiring safety policies and procedures that exceed the requirements set by OSHA. At Daley’s Drywall our safety goal is to relentlessly meet and/or exceed the requirements of our customers and OSHA standards.
Our Director of Safety is responsible for the maintenance and execution of our safety program to ensure we provide our employees with a safe work environment and meet or exceed clients' safety requirements.
All of our foremen are required to be OSHA-10, First-Aid and CPR certified.
We conduct continual job site safety inspections to ensure our safety procedures are implemented and rigorously followed. While on the job site, all Daley's Drywall employees are required to wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including proper work clothing, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, work boots and safety vests.
We maintain a formal IIPP Manual that is continually updated to optimize our safety policies and procedures.
Every new job is reviewed by our Safety staff prior to the job start to identify all the safety procedures unique to that job. A job specific safety packet is developed and a job specific IIPP manual is developed as required for each project.
New hire safety training orientation is mandatory for all new hires and rehires absent from Daley’s Drywall for six months or more.
We conduct regularly scheduled formal Foremen’s Meetings, run by our Safety Director, to review and reinforce safety policies and procedures, and conduct training on new or updated safety practices.
Our foremen conduct weekly mandatory job site tool box safety meetings where our safety policies are constantly reviewed and reinforced with our employees.
