Should you be hurt working for us, we want to help you immediately get the medical attention you need and on your way back to 100%. All employees are required to read our safety handbook. We ask that you sign and return the last page within one week from the time you receive it. Within two weeks our Safety Coordinator will require you to take our safety test. Upon successful completion our Safety Coordinator issue you a Daley Safety Card. You will also receive a Daley Hard Hat, Safety Glasses and two Daley T-shirts.

MSDS INFORMATION

I. HAZARDOUS COMMUNICATION PROGRAM (MSDS SHEETS)

While most of the products used in the drywall trade are inert and safe, you are occasionally exposed to hazardous materials. Glue sealers and caulking compounds as well as cleaning and thinning agents can be harmful if you are over exposed.
Most of the material we use produces a lot of dust from mixing, sanding rasping and cutting. Use a particle mask and goggles when creating excessive dust.
Asbestos is no longer present in our materials, however you may be on an older project where asbestos was used. We take every precaution to eliminate your exposure and ask that you report any suspicious material. Please report any suspected exposure to asbestos or other hazard materials.
Below is a table of the common products we use and the safety information provided by our suppliers for each product. We have summarized these MSDS sheets to reduce paperwork and make the information easier to read. A full copy of our Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) is available for your review at anytime at our office. If you have any questions on how to read the MSDS sheets, please ask your Foreman or our Safety Coordinator.
